'Glenties is in a great spot to explore the surrounding area. Rosaleen is very helpful in suggesting places to visit and the best way to get there. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on. The room was great, plenty of coat hangers and space in the wardrobe, and the breakfast fantastic. The home made rhubarb jam in particular was delicious. Thank you Rosaleen for the jar you gave me at the end of our stay. This was the second time I have stayed at Lisdanar House. Last year I visited with a friend, this time with my husband. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Donegal.'

'We arrived in Glenties for a set dancing weekend and were met at the door by Rosaleen and an offer of tea and cake. Lovely. Our room was impeccable; clean, fresh and welcoming. At 1 a.m. that night we fell into bed and slept the sleep of the angels. A full fried breakfast set us up for a long day of dancing on the Saturday and again on the Sunday.'
